Nerrisa, I just saw you and Joe and Nona on Cats 101. I wanted to tell you that we came to have a nebelung the same way. His name is Nate. He was discovered living in a feral cat colony on the San Francisco peninsula and he was friendly enough that the people feeding the colony took him to a rescue agency thinking he could be adoptable. My husband and I volunteer for the rescue and we became Nate's foster parents. We just realized a couple days ago that he's a nebelung - no question. He's gorgeous. He's got those glowing green eyes. He's very sweet and sensitive and loving. He needs a home! When I saw you on Cats 101 with Nona I thought, gosh, would they want Nate too? Nate and Nona could live together and be friends. Nate is VERY friendly to other cats. He goes up and touches noses and tries to snuggle with every cat he sees. We think Nate is no more than a couple years old. Somebody must have owned him before because he was already neutered when he was found at the feral cat colony. He must have just run away or been abandoned or something.
